Hagens Records First NHL Point in Debut as Bruins Top Columbus · Apr. 12, 2026
It didn't take long for James Hagens to make his mark — the 19-year-old needed just two periods, picking up the secondary assist on a Henri Jokiharju goal in the second by keeping the puck in at the blue line and finding Sean Kuraly on the forecheck. Selected seventh overall in the 2025 NHL Draft, Hagens had signed an ATO with Providence in late March before earning his callup. The real hero of the 3-2 win was Kuraly, who finished with a season-high three points, with Mark Kastelic's third-period winner proving the difference.
