Curtis Douglas became the 508th player in Canucks franchise history to score a goal when he cleaned up a loose puck in the crease to tie the game 1-1 in the first period against Anaheim. The milestone moment was shared by defenseman Kirill Kudryavtsev, who had been called up by Vancouver the day before and recorded his first NHL point with an assist on the play. Vancouver ultimately won 4-3 in overtime, with Marco Rossi converting on the power play.
