Down 2-0 after the first against a Hurricanes side resting their key regulars, the Flyers fought back in the second — Matvei Michkov pulled one back, then Trevor Zegras tied it on a power-play tuck through the five-hole off a Porter Martone feed, Zegras' 26th of the season. A scoreless third and OT took it to a shootout where Tyson Foerster's was the only goal and Dan Vladař stoned Alexander Nikishin to seal it. Philadelphia clinches 3rd in the Metropolitan and a first-round date with Pittsburgh.
