Just like in the 1999 Stanley Cup Final — the last time these two met on hockey's grandest stage — it was Dallas coming out on top against Buffalo when the dust settled. The teams traded goals back and forth in a tight affair that had echoes of that six-game series, ultimately requiring a shootout to split them, with the Stars winning 4-3. With both franchises among the postseason's elite heading into this spring, the possibility of a rematch 27 years in the making is now very real.
