With the Delta Center rocking for the inaugural home playoff game in franchise history, MacKenzie Weegar got the party started. The Utah defenseman tracked down a feed from Liam O'Brien, skated into the high slot, and blasted a slap shot that clipped Carter Hart's mask before finding the net at 12:59 of the first. It was Weegar's second career playoff goal — his first came as a member of the Florida Panthers in 2021.
