For the third straight game, regulation couldn't settle it. Alexandre Texier opened the scoring at 4:53 of the first off a feed from Zachary Bolduc and later set up the winner, finding Lane Hutson in the right corner who stepped into a slap shot from the top of the circle 2:09 into overtime. Kirby Dach also tallied a goal and an assist as Montreal takes a 2-1 series lead.
