Colorado put on a clinic in front of a hostile Crypto.com Arena crowd, closing out Los Angeles 5-1 to sweep the series and become the second team to advance. Nathan MacKinnon finally got on the scoresheet in emphatic fashion, potting a power-play goal in the first — the Avs' first man-advantage marker of the series — and adding an empty-netter late. Cale Makar struck early in the second to make it 2-0, and the Kings never recovered. Nicolas Roy and Devon Toews iced it in the third. Scott Wedgewood was quiet but steady with 24 saves as Colorado awaits the winner of Dallas–Minnesota.
