Philadelphia locked down Pittsburgh for all of regulation, with both teams unable to crack the other's goaltender through 60 scoreless minutes. Cam York broke the deadlock 2:28 into overtime on a shot that squeaked through a screen, giving the Flyers a 1-0 win in Game 6 and their first series victory in front of fans since 2012. Dan Vladar was the story — 42 saves, two shutouts in the series, a .937 save percentage. The Penguins, who rallied from 3-0 down to force Game 6, couldn't complete the historic comeback.
