The Golden Knights' comeback was complete. At 4:35 of the second period, Mitch Marner picked up a loose puck behind the Carolina net and backhanded a pass to William Karlsson, who was left all alone in front of Frederik Andersen and lifted it home for the 3-2 Vegas lead. It capped a three-goal run in just over 4 minutes of hockey for the Golden Knights. Karlsson, one of four players remaining from Vegas's inaugural 2017-18 Stanley Cup Final team, now has goals in back-to-back postseason appearances at the Final.
