Minnesota Wild Honor Marcus Johansson at 1,000 Games

Johansson was celebrated with a pregame ceremony before Minnesota's home game against San Jose in November of 2025, with Wild owner Craig Leopole presenting him with a Tiffany crystal and GM Bill Guerin handing over the commemorative silver stick. Only the 20th Swedish-born NHLer to reach the mark, Johansson arrived at the milestone on a career-best nine-game point streak — second in NHL history behind Bobby Hull in 1972 to enter his 1,000th game with an active streak of that length.
