Just over three minutes into what would become a championship night, Taylor Hall beat Carter Hart to put Carolina ahead in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final. The goal was Hall's seventh of the playoffs — tied for the team lead — a remarkable number for a player who was little more than a thrown-in piece when the Hurricanes acquired him from Chicago in 2025. His 19 playoff points capped one of the more improbable redemption runs in recent Cup history.
