Sweden's top-ranked international prospect told reporters in Buffalo that he felt increasingly confident he could compete at the pro level after representing his country at the Men's World Championship this spring. Stenberg (11 G, 33 A in 43 SHL games with Frolunda) also won the Swedish Junior Hockey Player of the Year award and a Champions Hockey League title this season, and enters Friday as a legitimate challenger to McKenna for the No. 1 pick.
