A new initiative organized by the league, the QMJHL Top Prospects Game saw the top draft-eligible talents in Québec and the Maritimes — including some notable re-entries — face off at the Léopold-Drolet Arena in Sherbrooke.
In front of rows and rows of NHL and NCAA scouts, the 2007 and 2008 age groups faced off in a spirited bout that ended in a 6-5 shootout win for Team Lafleur, headlined by top 2026 NHL Draft talents Xavier Villeneuve and Yegor Shilov, among others.
Elite Prospects will highlight the marquee prospects in this game, focusing primarily on prospects who did the most for their stock early on in the 2026 draft cycle.
