Elite Prospects NCAA Power Rankings for mid-October

Through two weeks of the college season, it's safe to say surprises abound.

We've already had a lot of turnover in the top of our rankings, as some players and teams are off to unbelievable starts while others are having more difficulty than expected finding traction early.

You never want to write anyone off early — especially because the Ivy League teams have only just started playing exhibitions — but some teams might already be setting themselves up for more difficulty than they'd like when it comes to an NCAA tournament bid. It really does get late early in college hockey.

With that in mind, our expert panel of Sebastian High, Ryan Lambert, Cam Robinson, and Sean Shapiro have ranked the best teams in the country to start the season.
