Frozen Four semifinal preview: Which teams and players have the edge?

But for the four teams in this year's Frozen Four, it's also old hat.

That's because the four teams convening in Las Vegas this weekend are the teams with the four most national championships in NCAA hockey history. 

In Thursday's early game, No. 2 North Dakota (eight national titles, good for third in NCAA history) will take on the upstart No. 12 Wisconsin Badgers (six titles, fourth nationally). Both have had their ups and downs, but it's tough to argue with how hard they've pushed for the last month-plus.

On the other side of the bracket, the University of Michigan, the No. 1 team in the country for a big chunk of the season, will take on the fifth-ranked University of Denver. The perennial contender started slow but has been arguably the best team in the countr
