Hockey East semifinals: UConn trying to make history vs. BU, Northeastern trying to stay alive vs. Maine

Chalk mostly walked in Hockey East's single-elimination quarterfinal round, with one notable exception. No. 1 in the conference and the country, Boston College, is sitting at home this weekend, having lost on home ice to upstart Northeastern.
Because there's now no clear No. 1, and there isn't much daylight between the Nos. 2-4 seeds, this is anyone's tournament to win. Especially because NU, which always seem to get up for big games, has only one path to the NCAA tournament: Win tonight and tomorrow.
UConn vs. BU (4 p.m. Eastern, Thursday)
There wasn't much separating these two teams in the regular season, just a couple wins in conference play, and maybe a few too many overtime results for UConn.
But you can throw out a ton of stuff about this season, because both teams really came alive down
