So it is with Matthews Arena, the closest thing to an ancient wonder as you can get in a world where sports teams now refresh their arenas every 20 years or so, adding ever more bells and whistles to accommodate athletes and continue parting attendees with their hard-earned money in new, surreptitious, and exciting ways.
