The Elite Prospects 2025 NCAA preseason power rankings

Another season of NCAA hockey is here and there's more reason than ever for fans of the prospect side of the sport to pay careful attention.

CHL players are here to stay, and their arrival completely changes the outlook for college hockey as a whole. Most of our projected top-20 teams have at least one, and some have significantly more than that. It's expected that many of these players will play a big role in their teams' success, even as colleges were already attracting more top talent from around the world than ever before.

With that in mind, our expert panel of Ryan Lambert, Cam Robinson, and Sean Shapiro have ranked the best teams in the country to start the season.
