2025 Stanley Cup Playoff Preview: Winnipeg Jets vs. St. Louis Blues

Well… that was unexpected. 

All year long, the Winnipeg Jets have held on to the top spot in the Western Conference mostly unopposed en route to the President's Trophy and William Jennings Trophy. 116 points ties the best season in franchise history (including the Thrashers, if that really needed to be clarified), and this one came with 55 wins as well, also a franchise record. Star goaltender Connor Hellebuyck will almost certainly win his second straight and third total Vézina Trophy, both achievements matched only by the holy trinity of Martin Brodeur, Dominik Hasek, and Patrick Roy since the modern award was created in 1981. Kyle Connor's 97 points is the most by a Jet since the team moved to Winnipeg in 2011. Finally, the team's +86 goal differential is the fourth-highest since 2007-08
