Elite Prospects 2025 NHL Prospect Pool Rankings: No. 28-ranked Vegas Golden Knights

Only one of the Vegas Golden Knights' eight first-round picks remains in the organization. 

They are a team focused on winning, and prospects and picks are futures easily flipped for currents. 

From a team-building perspective, it's a good strategy. From a prospect pool ranking perspective, well, that's why they're always at the near the bottom. 

That they're not at the very end, despite limited draft capital, speaks to their drafting. They like skill – playmakers, play-drivers, big shooters – while also still adding pieces that could bring some unique value to the bottom-six. 

With that out of the way, let's take a look at their trade chips. 

It was a year of growing pains for Trevor Connelly, but his development is the better for it. On the surface, his 0.57 points per game as a college fresh
