Aleksi Heponiemi sent to AHL to play for Charlotte Checkers

The Florida Panthers have reassigned Aleksi Heponiemi to their AHL team, the Charlotte Checkers, according to the team's Twitter account.
Heponiemi weighs 154 lbs and is 5'10". He first played for Ilves.
He has played the latest season in the Florida Panthers, and made no points in four games in the NHL.
