Matt Kiersted sent to AHL to play for Charlotte Checkers

The Florida Panthers have reassigned Matt Kiersted to their AHL team, the Charlotte Checkers, according to the team's Twitter account.
Kiersted is 6'0" and weighs 181 lbs.
He has played the latest season in the Florida Panthers, and made one goal and two points in eight games in the NHL.
