Dave Gagner was selected 12th overall in 1983 after scoring 121 points with the Brantford Alexanders. He totaled 12 points in 38 games in his first NHL stint in 1985 and became a regular after scoring 78 points in 1989. He scored at least 30 goals and 70 points in each of his next 4 seasons and retired in 1999 with 318 goals and 401 assists.
