Bobby Hull, Jr. Biography and Trivia
Bobby Hull, Jr., the oldest son of Bobby Hull, attempted to follow in his father's footsteps. He played major junior hockey for the WHL Lethbridge Broncos. His father was at odds with Pat Ginnell who coached a physical brand of hockey. In September 1979, a transfer sent the player rights of the Hull brothers, Bobby, Jr., Blake and Brett, from Lethbridge to the QMJHL Cornwall Royals. Bobby, Jr. became a QMJHL and CHL Memorial Cup Champion in his first season in Cornwall.
During his second season in QMJHL he moved back to Western Canada, only to return to Ontario to play senior hockey with his brother Blake. In 1987 they went on to win the Allan Cup, the Canadian senior championship. Bobby Hull, Jr. played his last and only professional hockey games with the PSHL Los Angeles Jets in 1992-93.
