Drafted 1983, 3 #33 overall by Kingston Canadians in the OHL Priority Selection

Made his NHL debut on March 8, 1985, for Chicago in Buffalo. Became first OHL goalie to score a goal, when he scored in a game against Toronto on January, 1986. Signed as a free agent by the Pittsburgh Penguins on September 6, 1989. The next OHL goalie to score would be Justin Peters in 2004.
