Drafted 1981, 1 #1 overall by Belleville Bulls in the OHL Priority Selection

Cult/Star player for Belleville Bulls

Cult/Star player for Bern

Cult/Star player for Zug

Dan is a part-time caddie for Ernie Els on the PGA Tour.

Quinn joined Bern during the 1993-94 season and signed a two year extension but left immediately after he got an offer from the Ottawa Senators to return to the NHL. During the 1994-95 lockout, Zug coach Jim Koleff (prior his coach in Bern) brought him back to Switzerland for injured Tom Fergus. He made his debut for Zug in a 5-2 win in Bern against his former team, scoring a goal.
He made him self legendary when he scored the equalizer in his last game for Zug at 59:59 in a 6-6 tie in Rapperswil when Zug came back from a three goal deficit in the last 30 seconds. In the same game, Doug Gilmour made his debut for the home team.
