Though he has mostly been known as an offensive defenceman in the past, Juusola has developed into a reliable defender who can log big minutes while keeping his game relatively mistake-free. He’s a good single-variable defender who isn’t afraid to engage the body to break up plays in the defensive zone or against the rush.
