Very skilled and technical center forward. After emigration of Richard Farda (C), he formed a great tandem with Josef Cerny (LW) (from 1974 to 1977). From 1977 member of the first formation of HC Kometa Brno in 1970´: Karel Nekola (LW) - Libor Havlicek (C) - Svatopluk Cihal (RW) (After 1980 replaced by Jiri Otoupalik (RW)). In national team he played in formation with Ivan Hlinka and Jaroslav Pouzar. Emigrated from Czechoslovakia in 1984. (Jan Jech)
