Daniil Ustinkov Facts

Player Type: Mobile DefensemanSpeedsterTwo-Way Defenseman
Agency: Premium

A smooth skater, Ustinkov can traverse a neutral zone with the puck with graceful, long strides, all while handling the puck precisely, and dig his edges into the ice to abruptly change direction without losing much speed. He laces in deception in his skating moves, faking changes of direction, while dancing at the offensive blue-line and he can free himself from coverage with just a couple of explosive steps. -EliteProspects 2024 NHL Draft Guide

If there isn’t a constructive play available right away, he holds onto the puck and maintains possession under pressure
