Artyom Vilchinsky Facts

Agency: Premium

What you see on the stat sheet is what you get on the ice. He’s a 6-foot- 4, 243-pound defenceman who plays like his best assets are his weight and reach. Using those tools, Vilchinsky defends the rush effectively, meeting attackers at his blue line and denying entry, but he’s at his best when parked around the net as the opposition cycles around. With his range and the threat of his big hits, he limits slot incursions and punishes opponents. -EliteProspects 2025 NHL Draft Guide

Brother: Makar Vilchinsky

he moves around well enough to stay with most forwards and he can use his big frame to separate them from the puck
