Michael Andlauer is a Canadian businessman who made his fortune in the healthcare and logistics. He was part of a group investors who acquired the Quebec Citadelles from George Gillett and the team right to the Hamilton Bulldogs from the Edmonton Oilers owners, the Edmonton Investors Group, on July 3, 2002.

The Edmonton Investors Group agreed to this arrangament as they sought to relocate their own AHL franchise to Toronto, Ontario. The Oilers shared the AHL affiliate with the Canadiens for one season. They then relocated and renamed their dormant franchise the Toronto Roadrunners, while the Bulldogs remained in Hamilton, Ontario. Andlauer became the majority owner of the Bulldogs in 2004.

The Montréal Canadiens sought to have its AHL affiliate in Laval, Quebec, which led to Andlauer selling the Bulldogs to Geoff Molson on March 12, 2015. At the same time, he bought the Belleville Bulls from Gord Simmonds, Bob Vander Slagt and Dennis Hill, which moved to Hamilton, Ontario, the following season and began to play as the Hamilton Bulldogs. He sold the OHL franchise to Stu Hyman, Zach Hyman and Spencer Hyman on January 14, 2025.

He became a minority owner of the Montréal Canadiens on September 10, 2009. He sold his minority stake (10%) in the Canadiens on November 1, 2023 to Geoff Molson, following his acquisition of the Ottawa Senators and its AHL affiliate, the Belleville Senators, from Anna Melnyk and Olivia Melnyk on September 22, 2023.
