John B. Sollenger was the General Manager and later the President of the Hershey Estates, including the Hershey Bears. He was the President of the American Hockey League (AHL) from 1953 to 1954. The AHL regular season leading scorer trophy was after him in 1955. He died on August 29, 1967.
