John Kilpatrick was an athlete and soldier. After serving in WWI he became a businessman and ran the Madison Square Garden for more than 25 years and worked for the New York Rangers from 1934 to 1960. He was posthumously inducted to the Hockey Hall of Fame in the Builder category in 1960 few months after his death.
