Tommy Lockhart

Thomas Finan Lockhart promoted ice hockey organizing the Eastern Amateur Hockey League in the '30s. In 1937 he became the first president of the Amateur Hockey Association of the United States, now called USA Hockey. Later he also worked in the U.S. Olympic Committee and IIHF council. He was inducted to the Hockey Hall of Fame in the Builder category in 1965 and he passed away on May 18, 1979.
