After graduating from the University of Wisconsin, Courtney Mahoney was hired by the Chicago Wolves to work in its community relations department in 1996. Her role was expanded the following season. She worked as the Director of Community Relations and Game Operations and then as the Executive Director of Community Relations and Game Operations, before being becoming responsible for the Operations.
