Salming was the first Swedish player to be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame. He played in 3 All-Star games and hit the 70-point mark 4 years in a row from 1977-80. Salming retired from the NHL in 1990 with 150 goals and 787 points, the 2nd most in NHL history by a Swedish defenseman.
