Niks Fenenko

Fenenko is a shutdown-defender that exhibits some crafty puck-moving tricks. He stops abruptly to let forecheckers overshoot and open lanes to the middle of the ice. His mobility serves him very well: He closes neutral zone gaps quickly, adjusts his positioning to cut passing lanes and pick up attackers early on their way to the net, boxes out, rotates ahead of the play, and takes care of sticks. -EliteProspects 2023 NHL Draft Guide
