William Abraham Hewitt was the secretary of Ontario Hockey Association (OHA) from 1903 to 1966 and an officer of the Canadian Amateur Hockey Association (CAHA) from 1915 to 1961. He served as an honorary team manager in the 1920, 1924 and 1928 Olympics. He was inducted to the Hockey Hall of Fame in the Builder category in 1947. Hewitt passed away on September 8, 1966.
