Broten was a part of the 1980 USA Olympic team that won gold at Lake Placid. He scored the Stanley Cup clinching goal for the Devils in 1995 and won a Lester Patrick Trophy in 1998. Neal retired after 17 seasons with 289 goals and 634 assists.
