Nick Speros is a forward for the Jr. Blues who was constantly creating changes in this 2011 non-Elite bracket during the playoffs. He understood how to gain good positioning in the attacking zone and regularly found inside ice to gain an advantage when accepting passes. He also was smart to slip behind defensive coverage and find open space which made him an available target on the pass. He showed good length for this age to pull the puck in with his reach and advanced deeper into the offensive zone. He showed some intelligence as a skater not purely operating north to south but making smart cutbacks and giving himself more room on the attack to deliver a pass or a shot. We will be seeing more of him in the coming seasons but he acquitted himself well in this outing. -Neutral Zone (Aug. 10, 2025)
