Brother: Jay Hebert

A calm, technically disciplined goaltender, combined sharp angles with quick reflexes and solid rebound control. He stood up well under pressure, used his stick effectively, and moved smoothly across the crease. Sometimes prone to playing a bit deep in his net and rarely handling the puck outside it, he nonetheless earned a reputation as a reliable, composed presence. Drafted by St. Louis in 1987 and chosen by Anaheim in the 1993 Expansion Draft, he became the Ducks’ first franchise starter, backstopping their rise and earning an NHL All-Star nod in 1997.

He paved the path for a long line of outstanding goaltenders throughout the Anaheim Ducks 25 year history., Ciara Durant 2019
No one could believe we were really going to be called the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. We just embraced it., Guy Hebert 2018
Guybo deals with everything in a happy-go-lucky way. He’s always relaxed. He’s great with the fans., Kevin Haller 1999
I flew to O.C. Airport in July of 1993, I remember thinking, I wonder if I could make this home?, Guy Hebert 1999
You know you’re ready to go on a roll when you get great goaltending like that., Ron Wilson 1997
