USHL Rosters
Günter Papenburg is a successful German entrepreneur who made his fortune in construction, manufacturing and logistics businesses. He built a new arena in Hannover in 2000 and acquired its main tenant, the Hannover Scorpions, in 2004. He relinguished the ownership of the team in 2013, after selling its DEL license to Thomas Burger and Michael Werner, the owners of the Schwenninger Wild Wings.
